GILAB based in Belgrade, recently welcomed Reyhaneh Sohrabi and Azadeh Shojaei, researchers from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB), Spain.
The visit provided an opportunity for knowledge exchange and discussions on emerging challenges at the intersection of artificial intelligence, accessibility, inclusion, and citizen-centered digital innovation. During their time at GILAB, the researchers met with the team to present their ongoing work and explore opportunities for future collaboration.
The visit enabled valuable discussions on the role of geospatial technologies, artificial intelligence, accessibility, and citizen participation in addressing contemporary societal challenges. It also highlighted the potential for interdisciplinary collaboration between researchers working across digital innovation, urban transformation, and inclusive technology.
