ClearClimate is a Horizon Europe Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) project dedicated to advancing Climate Information Services (CIS) through interdisciplinary research, user-centred design, and innovative digital technologies. The project brings together universities, research organizations, and industry partners to develop more accessible, effective, and impactful climate services that support evidence-based decision-making and climate adaptation. Running from November 2023 to October 2027, ClearClimate focuses on climate change, data visualization, behavioral science, accessibility, explainable AI (XAI), and science communication while fostering knowledge exchange through international secondments and collaboration.

GILAB’s role

As an associated partner, GILAB contributes its expertise in geoinformatics, GIS, web application development, and geospatial data visualization. GILAB supports the development of interactive climate information tools and user-oriented geospatial solutions that improve the accessibility and communication of complex climate data. Through technical collaboration, staff exchanges, and knowledge transfer, GILAB helps bridge advanced geospatial technologies with real-world climate adaptation challenges, contributing to more intuitive and actionable Climate Information Services.
