CAPEO aims to provide a web-based spatial analysis tool designed to boost the effectiveness of rural investment projects globally by improving access and usability of existing Earth Observation (EO) data and mapping products. By using this tool, no-expert users have access to several curated, decision-ready spatial indicators for better project identification, management, monitoring, evaluation, and impact assessment.
Built upon open-source geospatial softwares (GDAL, QGIS, STAC, etc.) and available under an MIT license, the solution includes a robust front-end viewer, a flexible REST API, a SpatioTemporal Asset Catalog (STAC – under development).
